Dr. Sheila Zercoe

Dr. Zercoe worked in human hospital laboratories for about 10 years but always wanted to be a veterinarian, so she went back to school.

She graduated from Texas A&M University in 1996 as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Zercoe worked as an emergency and day practice small animal veterinarian in the West Georgia area for over 15 years.

She moved to Florida for about 8 years to help her mother before returning to the area.

Dr. Zercoe enjoys working with various types of animals but would tell you cats tolerate her the best!

Our 15yr old Pomeranian little buddy developed a hernia. We were told by a previous vet that they would not even try to help. Dr. Lukert and his compassionate and dedicated staff listened, explained, and will do his surgery. As the Doctor said, "If we don't try to help a 15yr old, why are we even here..." Every staff member made the entire visit a joy. They interacted with everyone in a way that showed they cared. Bless them all. If your animal buddies need care, this is the place.
